October Surprises, Nasty Divorces (is there any other kind?) and "Hell Hath no Fury"

A, what else, Press Conference
Mention that Lady Bottom Feeder Lawyer Gloria (I hate men) Allred and I usually go right into "not-paying-attention mode." The headline of a story I read a couple of days ago caught my attention and caused me to read it. Allred was filing an action to unseal court records involving a case Mitt Romney had testified in. Since her action was datelined October, the author called it her "October Surprise." As in, Trouble for Romney.

Ok, I read. And concluded Miz Allred had found some pathetic, bitter, grudge-holding divorcee (Maureen Sullivan) still seeking revenge on her ex and willing to be party to one of Allred's scams legal causes. Her causes always seem to involve women who don't care that Allred's only interest is TV face time, the accompanying ballyhoo the media willingly gives her and the increase in the fees that her notoriety allows her to charge.

Tonight, courtesy of Breitbar.com I've learned Miz A. has The Boston Globe newspaper and the Chicago Political Thugs Political Machine involved.

Mitt Romney testified for the husband, a friend, in the divorce case. Divorce granted. A lot of money in play. Lady got a bunch. For some reason the court records were sealed. Should be end of story. Not so.

"Even though a gag order makes it illegal for Ms. Sullivan to publicly discuss her case,
apparently this hasn’t stopped her online. Though more than a decade has passed,
Sullivan's used social media for years to lash out at her ex-husband, and especially
Romney, using details of the proceedings that you would think fall under the gag order."

The author, John Nolte, evidently spent a lot of time dissecting everything surrounding the "case." Kind of like a Myth Busters piece.

Need a Time Sucker?

I just LOL'd and spent a few minutes playing a game named, "Help Mitt Romney to catch all women with his binder!"

Since there's a link on the page to a site collecting $$$ for his campaign, I guess it's got some sort of "official" blessing. Or something. Maybe the game was created by the guys who wrote the script he used (quite well) at the Al Smith dinner? Anyway, go waste a little time. Enjoy!

This has been a service of the type we offer around here. Ya'll come back now, ya heah?

Mitt's got a very real problem!

And I'm not sure he's aware of it. Yet. Lindsay Lohan, even though she voted for the guy in office now, says she's disappointed in the employment numbers and she...

"...also hinted at mysterious underlying motives for supporting the GOP candidate and turning her back on Obama under wraps.

"It's a long story, but you're going to have to wait for that," she remarked, adding that she would have liked to watch the Ryan vs. Biden debate, which had taken place just a couple of hours earlier, but for an unspecified reason, was unable to.

Last month, the troubled actress went as far as to tweet the President requesting he "cut taxes for those who need it: middle-class families, small businesses" as well as "those that are listed on Forbes as 'millionaires'."

Can you imagine the poor guy picked to deliver this bit of endorsement news to Romney?

"Lindsay-freakin'-Lohan is endorsing you, sir. Yes, sir, the one out there in LaLaLand. The one with the drug problems. The one that can't keep her clothes on. The one with an arrest record. Yes, sir, that's her. No, sir, there was no mention of a campaign contribution. She's broke and her mom is about to go Chapter 13."

A young Lindsay. Before the insanity set in.

Think this will influence any polls?

Last Night's Debate and Big Bird

Maybe I should have tried watching more of the debate last night. Seems I missed the highlight of the evening. Romney talked about PBS funding and set off a firestorm on the innernetz. Twitters were twittin', gifs were being giffed and Facebookers were liking a new account.

I'm not sure if all this helped or hurt him. Probably depends on which "news" program you watch.
